TeachNC
TeachNC is designed to inspire teaching candidates to pursue a profession in education and remove the barriers that stand in their way. This multi-pronged initiative features multimedia campaigns; an online, one-stop resource for information, and custom supports for candidates, like 1-on-1 coaching with active North Carolina teachers, access to financial aid, and the state’s first teacher jobs board.
Launched as a public-private partnership between BEST NC, the NC Department of Public Instruction, and TEACH.org in 2018, TeachNC was established as an recurring state-funded initiative in 2022.
